Enjoying the weather

Yesterday was one of the first nice mornings we've had so far.  We took advantage of the warmer temp and played outside.  These photos are my very first attempt with the new camera.

The boys loved being outside.  I've been thinking a lot about what kind of fun outdoor toys and things we can buy for them to play with this summer.  Any suggestions?

  1. 1. Bubbles!!!
    2. Sidewalk chalk
    3. Anything with balls (all sizes) is good for motor skills--kicking, throwing, catching, etc. Or get one of those kiddie basketball hoops.
    4. Sandbox
    5. Kiddie pool
    6. Water table--plus, you can switch out the water with other textured things (beans, rice, pasta, etc) and use it as a sensory table
    7. Finger painting--strip them down to their diaper, give them a huge surface to paint (cardboard box, poster board, huge white paper tablets) and let them go to town. Or use pudding.
    8. Picnic
    9. Playgrounds
    10. Reading books in a fun place--under a tree, in a tent, at the top of a playground fort (Little Man's favorite)

I don't know about any specific toys, but there are lots of fun bubble making items out there. Little Man would literally stay out side for hours chasing bubbles.
